1. How do I check whether the payments have been credited to my wallet?
Once you’ve sent cryptocurrencies to the address generated by CoinEx Wallet, you can check the status of this payment in the wallet display area.
2. Why didn't the recipient receive the payment?
On-chain transfers require confirmations from the entire network and cannot be interfered with in the duration. Possible reasons for not receiving a transfer include, but are not limited to:
- The recipient's address is incorrect. Make sure the address is correct when you transfer. On-chain transactions are irreversible, and once you transfer to the wrong address, only the recipient of the wrong address can return the amount to you, and CoinEx Wallet cannot get the fund back.
- Different types of cryptocurrencies have different operating mechanisms, and the number of confirmations required for the address you generate on other platforms/wallets is different. If the network is congested, the confirmation time will be prolonged, which will affect the time of receiving.
- The gas fee was set too low, causing the transfer not successful. In this case, you need to make a new transfer and make sure the gas fee is enough.
- If the recipient's address is correct but the balance in the recipient's account has not increased, we suggest you contact the recipient's platform customer service for assistance.
3. Can I cancel an ongoing sending payment?
Once you send the transfer via CoinEx Wallet and the transaction ID is trackable on the blockchain explorer, it cannot be canceled in the duration.
4. Why the token hasn’t been credited to the recipient address with enough confirmations?
If the recipient's address is correct but the balance didn’t update, you could reach out the customer service for further assistance.
5. How to reduce the waiting time for transfer?
If the entire block network is congested and too many transactions are waiting to be packaged and sent, with limited miners and insufficient capacity, there might be a long delay in the transfer arrival.
- CoinEx Wallet provides the display of the “Current Network" and “Est. Confirmation" of BTC and ETH. When initiating a transfer, you can adjust the transaction fee according to the confirmation time as needed.
- Or you can use ETH Transaction Acceleration on CoinEx Wallet to reduce the waiting time for ETH transfer.
6. What is a transaction ID?
Transaction ID, also known as transaction hash, is a long string of characters containing the transaction details (such as the amount of crypto sent, sending/receiving crypto address, and the date of transfer) that can be found on the blockchain with unique and unchanged features.
7. How to find the transaction ID?
You can check the transaction details in the block explorer according to the transaction ID from the payment platform.
8. Why can’t I find the transaction ID?
Congestion on the blockchain might occur occasionally, which leads to a delay in generating transaction ID. In this case, please wait patiently and check it later in the block explorer.
If you can't find the transaction ID for a certain amount of time, please contact the recipient platform to confirm the status of this transaction.
9. What is the confirmation number?
Confirmation number refers to the process in which the transaction is included in the block and added to the blockchain. When a transaction has been included in a block and then added to the blockchain, it gets a confirmation.
The confirmation number of a transaction ID represents the block number of the transaction. Generally speaking, the sending status of a transaction is related to the confirmation number it has received on the blockchain.
